This Department was re-opened as of December 2006. It currently operates as a sub-unit of Command under the Executive Officer. Science requires a Chief in order to return to independant status. Interested recruits or current crew members wishing to tansfer should contact captain@usskelly.com

The Science Department promotes science knowledge within the club through the development of training material and science-oriented activites. Specific duties will be assigned by the Captain, but input from potential Chiefs will strongly influence his decisions.
